As a Short-Form Video Editor at GSA Productions you will transform raw footage into highly engaging vertical videos built for TikTok, Reels and YouTube Shorts. Your role is to create fast-paced content that hooks viewers instantly and keeps them watching through strong pacing, visual flow and emotionally charged edits. You will work closely with the creative director to produce videos that feel premium perform well on social media and support the growth of our clients.
Edit short-form videos with strong pacing timing and narrative clarity
Add captions subtitles text elements transitions overlays and retention-boosting edits
Use After Effects to create clean animated text simple graphics and visual enhancements
Select the strongest moments from raw footage to build compelling stories
Perform color correction audio clean-up stabilization and reframing
Apply platform-specific formatting for TikTok Reels and Shorts
Integrate trending editing styles audio choices and pattern interrupts
Maintain clean project files and consistent delivery standards
Communicate clearly with the creative team throughout the editing process
Proven experience editing short-form content for TikTok Reels or Shorts
Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects
Deep understanding of social media pacing hooks and retention strategies
Ability to edit quickly without sacrificing quality
Experience with text animation visual accents and modern editing styles
Strong attention to detail rhythm and visual timing
A portfolio showing short-form examples is required
Constantly studies short-form trends and understands what captures attention
Enjoys fast creative workflows and problem solving
Pays attention to every frame and cares about smooth pacing
